The HubIT www.hubit-project.eu will have its first International Workshop on 3rd December 2018, from 9:30 am to 4pm, at Holiday-Inn Vienna City, Vienna, Austria. It will reunite ICT experts, Social Scientists and Humanities experts to build together a new responsible way to do research and innovation.
Key topics will include:
Do new ICT technologies represent our values and social contexts?
Is Artificial Intelligence, big data and machine learning in transport, medicine, agro-industry, military and governance, making our society a safer or more dangerous place?
Is the technology behind smart-cities and new educational solutions detrimental to a diversified and culturally rich society?
The Node is supporting the HubIT project in its effort and in the promotion of the responsible research and innovation in Europe and abroad. Mr. Tomas Matraia, Executive Director of the Node and Director of the Adwisers will give the key note: For a digital social contract: Designing tech-societies with responsibility.
