The Node and The AdWisers have been selected as institutional partners of the EU-Ukraine Forum by the Eastern Institute.
Within the thematic session: Economic Development: Agricultural Investments – Prospects for International Cooperation Ph.D. Enrique Doblas, Scientific Coordinator of The Node, will be presenting CREAF activities, capacities and key international cooperation projects such as the newly launched FASTER Project, funded under the EU Horizon 2020 programme.

Mr. Tomas Matraia, Executive Director of The Node and Director of The AdWisers will moderate a discussion panel How to Build Innovative Economy Efficiently? Experiences – Inspirations – Strategies. The main purpose of the discussion will be to find a solution to avoid a peripheral development model of the economies of Central and Eastern Europe. Different strategies for supporting innovation have been adopted in different countries of the region, and the results of this policy are also different.
The AdWisers partnered with the Eastern Institute also to develop the Strategic Game: How to Prevent a Humanitarian Crisis? Ukraine and Its Neighbors – an Optimal Plan of Action in the Face of War in the East of Ukraine.
Mr. Matraia will be bringing his expertise matured in the United Nations and European Commission and facilitate the humanitarian and social path issues like: forced migrations, ways to supply humanitarian and medical help, maintaining security on the territories free of the conflict and fulfilling the needs of civilians staying on those territory.
